Welcoming Our New &Barrians

By: Jenn Rivera, Director of Human Resources

We’re a third of the way through the year and when you look around the office, you can’t help but feel the positive energy surging through everyone. Since the start of the year &Barr has been busy. Busy growing, busy working hard for our clients, and busy making sure that we’re doing everything in our power for them to succeed.

All this growth has us welcoming several new “&Barrians” to the team, and we’re excited to formally introduce them to you.  Included below are just a few interesting facts about these great new additions to &Barr. Click on the names below to check out their bios and learn even more!

Lynn Whitney-Smith: The first new team member to join us in 2022 was Lynn Whitney-Smith. As our Director of Production, she oversees the &Barr team that brings our creative concepts to life. In addition to her decades of experience in producing award-winning campaigns, she also finds time to keep watch over her brahma bull, Luke, who lives at her family’s farm in Gainesville.

Jacob Weaver: Jacob joined us as an Assistant Account Executive, his experience developing deep client relationships, that drive success is a welcomed addition to &Barr. Jacob is a sports lover, and one of his bucket list goals includes visiting every Major League Baseball Park. So far he’s checked off 12 out of the 30, with each season bringing him closer to achieving his goal.

Tanisha Morris: A shining new addition to our team, Tanisha Morris joins &Barr as a PR Account Supervisor. Her childhood dream was to work in the travel industry as a flight attendant but found out there was a height requirement she couldn’t meet and instead decided to represent the travel industry leading public relations for a national airport. Now she brings her travel experience to &Barr.

Jordan Damato: Jordan is an accomplished production artist with a long list of Addy awards to his name. If you ask him what attracted him to &Barr he’ll tell you he has always admired our strategic approach to developing winning creative campaigns. So when he heard about an opening to join our team it was in his words, “just too juicy to pass up!”

Luna Aguilú: Luna is &Barr’s newest Group Account Director and will be managing a robust roster of clients that’s sure to keep her busy. This won’t be a problem for her though, considering she’s been successfully managing brands and serving up innovative strategies for the past 15+ years in both domestic and international markets. A hard worker, with a passion for perfection, she used her skills to succeed as an Olympian in the 2004 summer games when she competed in artistic swimming!

Jill Shea: Our newest Account Executive, Jilaine Shea, brings over a decade of experience providing successful growth strategy for national brands including Kennedy Space Center, Corksicle, the Villages, Patina Restaurant Group and more. Jill is fascinated with “what makes people tick,” and has an admiration for the passion that she sees in the work of her team. &Barr’s very own superstar she’s a former member of the pop group “The Beu Sisters” who were featured on 8 movie soundtracks, (most notable was “The Lizzie McGuire Movie” which was triple platinum, and “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” where their song was the opening credits for the film). She’s even toured with Kelly Clarkson and Clay Aiken!

These individuals have been a welcomed addition to our team and are already hard at work accomplishing great things for our clients. Our vision is to be the agency of choice for talented professionals and diverse brands, providing innovative solutions to enhance people’s lives. This latest class of new team members are certainly a group of “talented professionals”.

After 65 years &Barr is still growing, and we couldn’t be more excited for what the future holds.
