By: Pete Barr, Jr CEO / President

As we pass the mid-year mark here at &Barr, we celebrate the continued growth of both our team and our roster of valued clients. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the team pivoted, adapted and committed ourselves to helping our clients survive and, in some cases, thrive. By summer, we were pursuing several new client opportunities—many of which are now current clients. And by October, we came back to the office with full safety protocols in place, looking forward to a bigger and better future at &Barr.

Things have been busy since we’ve returned to the office. Summit Broadband chose &Barr to complete a comprehensive corporate rebrand that led to a full-service, ongoing partnership. After a 9-month selection process, we were unanimously chosen as the agency of record for the Space Coast Office of Tourism. We provided a corporate rebrand for Omega Healthcare. We also onboarded several new clients: Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando and Osceola came aboard for public relations counsel as well as strategy and rebranding support, and we were chosen by Alpha Foundations to provide paid media support as well as public relations services. In March, our partnership with New York Life Investments expanded to include several new product line launches. And finally, we just formalized our partnership with the Crane Inspection and Certification Bureau for full-service agency support.

Our hard work and focus have allowed us to continue to provide value to our existing clients while bringing on new ones. Because of our client growth, we also needed to grow our team. I’m so pleased to welcome and introduce our newest &Barrians:

The block of 600 East Washington Street is back to buzzing with energy and activity. Here’s hoping COVID stays in the rearview mirror—because the view through the windshield looks dynamic and bright.

For 64 years, we have adapted to the needs of every single client. To the demands of every new technology. To the challenges of every impossible scenario.I am proud to lead this great agency into the exciting future ahead.
