ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. 1, 2020) – The Orange County Regional History Center, one of Florida’s preeminent cultural institutions, has selected &Barr as its new public relations agency for a three-year term. &Barr, an award-winning, fully integrated agency, will increase awareness of and visitation to the History Center among locals and tourists throughout Central Florida and its drive markets. &Barr will promote the History Center’s programs, events, exhibitions and extensive renovation projects, including its atrium, patio and permanent exhibits.

The History Center is located in the former Orange County courthouse built in 1927 in Downtown Orlando. It is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution and accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, the highest honor achievable.

Through its events, exhibitions, and programs the History Center allows visitors to explore 35,000 archived materials covering more than 12,000 years of local heritage. To help connect the past with the present, it provides interactive experiences for children of all ages, from field trips to teach-in events, including STEAM integration.
